ABOUT US
ADRIATIC WORKING DOGS d.o.o. (AWD) is a specialized company engaged in the breeding, selection, and training of service and working dogs intended for professional use across various operational systems. Our work is founded on years of experience, technical expertise, and a structured approach to developing K9 dogs with exceptional working ability, stable temperament, and reliable character.
Our dogs are trained and prepared for service in police, military, security, and customs units, as well as for search and rescue services, fire brigades, civil protection, and humanitarian organizations. Specialized training programs are designed for the
detection of explosives, narcotics, tobacco, weapons, and currency, search and rescue operations, and personal and property protection tasks.
At AWD, every dog undergoes a comprehensive selection process including genetic evaluation, temperament testing, socialization, and an individualized training program. Our goal is to ensure that each dog meets strict international standards and operational requirements for the service it is intended for. Collaboration with domestic and international experts, combined with modern training methodologies, allows us to achieve high levels of precision, motivation, and efficiency in every working dog.
Our partners include government institutions, security agencies, rescue units, and specialized organizations throughout Europe and beyond.
We are proud to contribute to the advancement and quality of service K9 units through responsible breeding, professional training, and continuous care for canine welfare.
At AWD, we believe that every working dog is more than a tool — they are a mission partner, a guardian of safety, and a reflection of professionalism in every aspect of our work.
